Cancellation and Refund Conditions

The deductions applied by reservation type and cancellation timing, the refund process and special cases.

Last updated: June 16, 2026

This page governs the cancellation and refund principles for hotel accommodation reservations made through the Bedoka Platform. Bedoka is an intermediary platform; cancellation and refund rules vary according to the rate you select and the policy of the relevant hotel. The rules applicable to each reservation are clearly shown in the reservation summary before payment and are applied together with the general principles on this page.

1. Reservation Types

  • Flexible rate: Offers free cancellation up to a certain date. For cancellations made after this date, the deduction table below applies.
  • Non-refundable rate: Is more affordable; however, in the event of cancellation, date change or early check-out, the amount is not refunded.

2. Deduction Table by Cancellation Timing

The table below shows the sample/standard deduction rates for flexible rates. When the hotel’s own policy sets a different window, the rule shown at the reservation step prevails.

Cancellation timing (time before check-in)DeductionRefund rate
More than 48 hours before check-inNo deduction (free cancellation)100% refund
24–48 hours before check-inFirst 1 night’s chargeRemaining amount refunded
Less than 24 hours before check-inFirst 1 night’s chargeRemaining amount refunded
Check-in day / no-showTotal amountNo refund

The rates above are general/illustrative. The binding rules for each reservation are set out in the reservation summary and your confirmation email.

3. Refund Process and Timing

When a cancellation is approved, the amount to be refunded is paid back to the method by which payment was made:

  • Credit / debit card: A refund instruction is issued to the card from which payment was received. The reflection time to your bank is generally between 7 and 14 business days (may vary according to bank processes).
  • Wire / EFT transfer: The refund is made to the IBAN you provide; for this you need to share your account details.

The refund amount is calculated after the applicable rate and deduction rules are applied. We carry out the refund process by keeping you informed via email.

4. No-show

If you do not check in to the hotel without cancelling the reservation (no-show), unless otherwise stated in the rate, the total reservation amount is charged and no refund is made. If you are going to check in late, we recommend informing the hotel or us in advance so that your place is preserved.

5. Hotel-Initiated Cancellations

Rarely, situations may arise in which the hotel cannot honor the reservation for operational reasons. In such a case:

  • An equivalent or higher-quality alternative hotel/room is offered, or
  • If you prefer, the full amount you paid is refunded without any deduction.

Bedoka, in its capacity as intermediary, coordinates with the hotel to produce a solution in your favor during this process.

6. Force Majeure

In extraordinary circumstances beyond the parties’ control, such as natural disaster, epidemic, official authority decisions or travel restrictions, cancellation and refund requests are evaluated within the framework of applicable legislation and the relevant hotel’s force majeure policy. In such cases, flexible solutions such as a date change or an open ticket (accommodation credit) may be offered.

7. How to Make a Refund Request?

To submit your cancellation or refund request:

  • Email: Write to info@bedoka.com, stating your reservation code, your full name and your cancellation request.
  • If the refund is to be made to an IBAN rather than a card, include your account details in your message.
  • Your request is reviewed according to the applicable rate rules and the result is notified by email.

For the exception to the right of withdrawal in accommodation services and other provisions relating to distance selling, see our Distance Sales Agreement; for general rules, see our Terms of Use.
